On the 29th of June 1969, Rádio Juriti AM was officially inaugurated, meeting the great expectations of the people of Paracatu and region. It was the pioneering spirit of Radio arriving in our city: the first radio station in the Northwest of Minas Gerais. Little by little, Juriti gained space. The mission of the management and employees was to make a healthy Radio, with lots of entertainment, music, information, evangelization and initiatives in favor of the community.AM TO FM MIGRATION
With the arrival of modulated frequency, Rádio Juriti AM in Paracatu closes another long chapter in its glorious history. But this is not the end, but the beginning of a new battle, the preparation of the apex: the Digital Age of FM Radio.
On November 7, 2016 at 10 am, the signing ceremony of the migration from AM to FM was held in the Noble Hall of the Planalto Palace in Brasília with the presence of the then President of the Republic Michel Temer. Where the contract that signed the migration from AM to FM was signed.
Broadcasting simultaneously on AM and FM radio waves since July 5, 2018, Rádio Juriti de Paracatu officially turned off its transmission on the 870 KHz frequency on December 26, 2018 at 4 pm and started operating exclusively on the 92.5 MHz frequency.
After 49 years on the air with programming for the entire region through AM, the station's management strictly followed the requirements of the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL). Now the station writes a new chapter, enabling better signal quality for listeners and customers, maintaining the pillars of its programming guided by the mission of cheering and informing people with excellence, ethics and innovation.
On February 22, 2019, at 7:30 pm, there was a meeting at the Paracatu City Council for the official opening ceremony of Rádio Única FM – 92.5, where the directors of the station and authorities were present.
